Hélène Rusquet

Hélène Rusquet studied under pianist Pascal Mantin. After two years of study with Marie-Paule Siruguet at the Boulogne-Billancourt Regional Conservatory, she was admitted to the Paris Conservatory of Music and Dance in the class of Nicolas Angelich and Romano Pallotini, later joining the chamber music programme in the class of Marc Coppey and the fortepiano programme in that of Patrick Cohen. She also took part in masterclasses with Levente Kende, Jacques Rouvier, Anne Queffélec, Denis Pascal, Jean-Claude Pennetier and Elisabeth Leonskaja. In 2007, she received her Higher Education Diploma with honours. Sensitive to the marriage of voice and poetry, she regularly gives concerts with singers in the Lied and melody repertoire, receiving guidance in this field from Nathalie Dang. In 2021, she recorded her first album dedicated to French composers J. G. Ropartz, G. Dupont and G. Fauré, for the Anima Records label. A holder of the CA (Certificate of Aptitude), concert pianist, soloist and chamber musician, Hélène Rusquet now teaches at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Cergy-Pontoise, as well as piano and chamber music in the Cello Ad Libitum and Accordissimo courses.
