Beatrice Magnani

Winner of 20 first prizes in national and international competitions (including the Piano Campus d'Or in 2010), the Marguerite Maister Prize in Zurich and the Bryden Thomson Prize in Glasgow, Beatrice Magnani has worked with professors Franco Scala and Boris Petrushansky and the Master of Arts in Music Performance at the “Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana” of Lugano, with Professor Anna Kravtchenko. Beatrice performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician in concert halls, festivals and international academies throughout Europe, America and Asia, from Milan's Teatro Manzoni to Moscow's Tchaikovsky Hall and Beijing's National Center of Performing Arts. A passionate and fascinating romantic, her personal self-sacrifice and pianistic virtuosity have enabled her to build up an extensive repertoire combining difficult and stylistically varied recital programmes. For several years now, Beatrice Magnani has been part of the Lincoln Center Stage project as a chamber musician and has been promoted by New York's Lincoln Center in collaboration with RWS Entertainment Company. Passionate about teaching, Beatrice has taught at the Conservatories of Cremona, Verona and Cuneo. She is currently Professor of Piano Practice at the “A. Boito” Conservatory of Parma.
